Time Change Keypad Instructions

Before you start, you will need to know the master code for your home alarm system. A master code is the primary code required to make any changes to your system. Often the master code is the same as the keypad access code you use to arm and disarm your alarm system. If you do not know your master code, please contact customer service by calling 1 800 653-9111.




Ademco, Honeywell, First Alert

  1. Enter Master code _ _ _ _
  2. Press # button
  3. Press 63
  4. Press * when the time/date is displayed. A cursor appears under the first digit of the hour. To move cursor ahead, press *. To go back, press #
  5. Enter the 2-digit hour setting
  6. Enter the 2-digit minute setting
  7. Press 1 for PM or 0 for AM
  8. Enter the 2-digit month setting
  9. Enter the 2-digit day setting
  10. Enter the last two digits of the current year
  11. To exit, press * when the cursor is at the last digit, or wait 10 seconds

DSC Classic Series (1550, 2550, 3000)

  1. Press *6
  2. Enter Mastercode
  3. Press 1
  4. Press 2-digit hour (24 hr format)
  5. Press 2-digit Minutes (24 hr format)
  6. Press #

DSC Power Series (1555, 5010, 864, 1832, 1864, ENVOY, ALEXOR)

  1. Press *6
  2. Enter 4 digit Master code (The red armed light will appear Keypad will enter program mode)
  3. Press 1
  4. Press 2 digit hour (24 hr format)
  5. Press 2 digit Minutes (24 hr format)
  6. Press 2 digit Month (March � 03)
  7. Press 2 digit Day (01-31)
  8. Press 2 digit Year (2007 � 07)
  9. Press ##

Please note: On the DSC Systems, the time will sometimes take a few minutes to update, if the time does not change after 5 minutes repeat steps.

GE Simon Systems 1, 2, and 3

  1. Open Panel (cover on keypad)
  2. Enter Master code with red lettered numbers
  3. Press (Clock Set) Button
  4. Press (Hours) button to desired time
  5. Press (Minutes) Button to desired time
  6. Press Done
  7. Close Panel

GE Simon XT

  1. Scroll up/down until the display shows Set Clock.
  2. Press Enter.
  3. The display shows Enter Code.
  4. Enter your master code with numeric keys. Press Enter.
  5. Press Enter again. The display now flashes the hours.
  6. Scroll up/down to set the hours.
  7. Press the Enter key to accept. The display now flashes the minutes.
  8. Scroll up/down to set the minutes.
  9. Press the Enter key to accept. The display is now flashing the AM/PM.
  10. Scroll up/down to set the AM/PM.
  11. Press Enter to accept. The display now shows the current time, and stops flashing.
  12. Press STATUS twice to exit.

GE Allegro

  1. Press 8 (Settings)
  2. Enter Master Code
  3. Scroll down (using Disarm Button) until TIME is displayed
  4. Press # (Select)
  5. Enter Current Time using 12-hour clock (eg. 1:05 pm needs to be entered as 0105)
  6. Press arm to toggle between AM and PM
  7. Press # to Accept
  8. Press * until EXIT is displayed, and press # to confirm

VISONIC PowerMax (Gemini)

  1. Press NEXT until User Settings Displays
  2. Press SHOW/OK
  3. Enter Master Code
  4. Press NEXT until [TIME HH,MM A] Appears
  5. Press SHOW/OK
  6. Enter The Hours and Minutes, for AM press *, for PM press #
  7. Press SHOW/OK
  8. Press AWAY and then SHOW/OK to Exit
